After 3 different surgeons/consultants Mr Dickinson is amazing ,understanding ,caring and listens and treats you with respect as an induviual not just another patient ....my treatment is still ongoing, not sure as whether or not i will need more surgery but if i do i will only have it done by him

I have only seen Mr Dickinson once, but I was extremely impressed by his clarity of explanation, caring attitude, and -- so important -- a sense that he really listened to what I was saying. I have experienced pretty mediocre doctor-patient interaction in the past in the Urology Department at the RLI, but today's experience has really boosted my confidence in the Department. Mr Dickinson is wonderful!

I had a TURPS 31ST AUGUST 2018 ...at Westmoreland general .Kendal .I was apprehensive but mr Dickinson put me at ease completely ..after hearing so many horror stories ...I had mild sickness due to anaesthesia but no pain at all I was allowed home today 48 hours after the procedure . my worries about urinating were groundless as I am currently pointing and emptying out like a farm animal ..with some very minor discomfort ...I can only hope that there are no unforeseen problems later . I must also add that ALL the hospital staff at Kendal were totally caring and professional and a credit to our glorious NHS
